The Arts University Bournemouth is a specialist provider of high quality teaching, learning and scholarship in arts, design, architecture, media and performance.  It was awarded ‘Gold’ status in the recent Teaching Excellence Framework assessment and is recognised internationally as a professional arts university.
Following a period of growth and development, we now welcome applications for this senior post. 
This post brings together a number of University services directed at student recruitment.  These encompass marketing, UCAS applications and admissions, home, EU and international recruitment, widening participation, schools liaison and a fast developing short course and summer school offer.  With distinct focus on student recruitment and working with experienced established staff, you will have responsibility for meeting University targets on admissions. 
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director of Student Recruitment will be a member of the University Management Team and expected to work collaboratively to implement the University’s strategic aims and key enablers.  The Director will provide exceptional leadership, will be entrepreneurial in approach and responsive to the strategic imperatives of the current HE Sector.
